What the heck is a Rune?

A rune is an individual character in an ancient Nordic alphabet. They are similar to Egyptian hieroglyphs in that each character is more like a symbol, rather than a phonetic sound. Only those with knowledge of the runes could interpret their meaning.

The idea of using Rune in our name, therefore, is that we have the knowledge of the various technologies (HTML, CSS, ASP, CFM, PHP, JS, etc.) and can interpret and harness their power for our clients.

For the movie buffs, this is analogous to The Matrix, in which Neo can "see" the code behind the "reality." This is where he derives his power. We like to think that we are Neos in our own, website-development way.
